Be Focus; Understand the business you want to go into
During the interview Dangote said the first thing any businessman should do is to meticulously pinpoint the type of business he or she wants to do.
You need to Identify the industry you want to venture into.
Most people don’t take time out to do a survey of what will be right for them, you don’t need to venture into an industry that is currently booming.
You can be futuristic about the industry you intend to venture in.
Persevere, Be Tough
Perseverance is the key, a good businessman must persevere.
If you invest in something and the first few, months are not going as plan or perhaps profits are not coming in as they should.
It does not mean you are a failure.
Remember winners don’t quit. Dangote said “you need to stay tough”.
Don’t spend your projected income
A good businessman never rushes into spending his projected income.
You have to be patience, Let the money come in first before you start spending.
You should be really be wise when it comes to spending income.
Social life and business don’t go together. You have to be very serious.
Dangote during the interview said “Social life and business don’t go together. You have to be very serious, If you want to enjoy life, you won’t be able to work. It’s always better to make the money first and then enjoy later.”
